ABOUT THE TUTOR
Hi I'm Jenny, the course tutor. I've been a holistic therapist and tutor since 1997. I'm qualified in Indian Head Massage, aromatherapy, clinical aromatherapy, holistic massage, sports massage, pregnancy massage, hot stone massage, reiki, IET, reflexology, acupressure and natural facial. I have worked in various colleges and holistic centres and I owned and managed my own centre, Essentials Holistic Centre in Malahide, from 2012 to 2019. I have taught several hundred practicing massage therapists, aromatherapists and reflexologists. Many have added Indian Head Massage, 5 Oil Facial, Mini Treatments and Pregnancy Massage to their therapies.
When I first qualified I quickly realised that with the marketing and therapeutic skills I had it would be very difficult to succeed, either as a self employed therapist or in a job. So I did further training, learned about marketing and my business took off. I don't want my students to have the same difficulties I had, or, even worse, to give up on their dreams because of a lack of knowledge or skills. So my courses include the advanced techniques etc that they need. Because, although certification is important, it's not the only thing that matters.
I started offering online holistic courses in 2017. In 2019, the demand for online courses was greater than for in person courses. I knew I couldn't fully commit to both online and offline so, after a lot of soul searching, I decided to give up my premises and focus on the online holistic courses.
